Tedia, a NewHold Enterprises company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Mattey to Chief Executive Officer, as well as the appointment of current CEO, Tyler Ellison to Vice Chairman.
Jim will be based at Tedia’s headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio and will continue to foster the company’s steadfast focus on Safety, Quality and Organic Growth. Jim joins Tedia with a proven track record of driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and achieving results. He is a chemical engineer by training and has over 26 years of experience in multinational chemicals and materials manufacturing firms, serving a range of demanding end markets including semiconductor, aerospace, clean energy, and automotive. Prior to Tedia, Jim was the Vice President and General Manager of Materion’s Newton, MA facility and associated businesses, which was acquired by Materion in late 2021. This was the largest acquisition for Materion at the time and was led and integrated by Jim in his role as Vice President, Strategy & Execution. He previously held strategic marketing and business development roles in Avient (formerly PolyOne) and Vectra (formerly OM Group). Jim brings a wealth of knowledge and experience across operations, corporate development, and business strategy.
