Technical Sales Support Specialist

The Technical Sales Support Specialist is responsible for responding to customer and team technical questions, supporting product development, marketing, and launch stages of a product development process.

The Technical Sales Support Specialist must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. The Technical Sales Support Specialist will identify technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

With market knowledge and end-user insight, Technical Sales Support Specialist feeds customer and market data to other technical staff within Tedia, works collaboratively with Tedia staff to improve existing processes and products, and to develop new products and services.

Are you enthusiastic and willing to serve as a technical advisor and product advocate for Tedia’s products?

You will be responsible for:

  • Respond to technical questions from customer & internally within 24 hours.
  • Support timely resolution of customer complaints through participation & providing deliverables within quality investigations.
  • Recommend, communicate, and annually review critical aspects of Tedia branded products, including specifications, shelf-life, packaging requirements, and product line attributes.
  • Participate in product ideation by working collaboratively with Quality and R&D.
  • Provide sales team with product recommendations, product development, and product improvement.
  • Support timely and effective discover and closure of sales opportunities.
    • Ensure completion of NII through multiple departments within 10 days of initiation.
    • Working collaboratively with sales team and Tedia customers, articulate opportunities for value added features benefits, services and technical specifications driving growth within year-over-year revenue & profitability targets.
    • Provide standardized application and product training to Tedia and distributor sale teams with 4 annually scheduled events.
    • Facilitate and execute internal communications of customer expectations and problems from the sales team and Tedia processes, methods and systems from the manufacturing team.
  • Support website & social media maintenance, accuracy, news, and content.
  • Support new product launch by providing technical marketing information through review and analysis of marketing data and by representing Tedia externally to customers, industry organizations and exhibitions.
