In the 1960s, my father, Moon Park, arrived as a student in the United States from war-torn South Korea alone. He came not with capital or connections, but with resolve. He earned a master’s degree in chemical engineering at Tennessee Tech and later moved to Cincinnati for doctoral work. Along the way, he accepted a role as production manager at a local chemical company. It was a practical decision, but he was already thinking beyond it.

As his daughter, I grew up watching the quiet determination that defined him. He believed deeply in building something of his own. He wanted to create a company grounded in technical excellence, discipline, and long-term value.

They learned continuously, made difficult decisions, strengthened customer relationships, and grew the company with focus and optimism. They were small and scrappy, but deeply committed to quality and service. Their sincerity earned trust, and that trust fueled growth.
